The Fridenson Group was founded in 1975, and is one of the leading and veteran logistics and freight forwarding companies in Israel. The Group employs about 400 skilled and professional employees who provide a comprehensive range of services to its varied customers in Israel and worldwide.

1975

The Fridenson Group began as a small family company founded by Haim Fridenson, who was born in Poland and immigrated to Israel in 1949. Haim began as a truck driver in the Red Army in WW II, and was injured in the famous Battle of Stalingrad. In 1975 he founded, together with his sons Arie and David, Fridenson Cranes and Trucking Ltd, which provided overland transport services and grew to become a leading transport company.

1987

Towards the end of the 1980s, Arie Fridenson turned to other business ventures, and his young brother Rami joined David in managing the Group. The two have led the Fridenson Group together since then, and in 2008 David’s son, Asaf, joined as the Group’s Co-CEO.

1997

The land transportation sector is growing, and the group is beginning to offer vehicle transportation services.

2007

The company went public on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Since then we grew to become a strong and well-known brand in the supply chain world.

2008

Acquired international freight forwarding activity. We first entered the freight forwarding area as a project forwarder, and then acquired a large freight forwarding company and changed its name to Fridenson Air Ocean. At the same time we also maintained our project capabilities, as well as the acquired company’s abilities in the customs brokerage and in the air and ocean forwarding areas.

2015

Established and operate a logistics center and rail terminal in the back part of Ashdod Port. In Ashdod we also operate the Ashdod Terminal for vehicles under bonded conditions, as well as a customs container terminal, an advanced distribution center and a storage and distribution center for hazardous materials.

2020

Established the shipping agency Sappan Agencies, also representing the Turkish company MEDKON Lines, and expanded to include additional agencies and specializations. Over the following three years we signed agency Over the following three years we signed agency agreements to represent the Chinese CULines that operates in the container field, and with the American company Liberty Global Logistics (LGL) that provides RORO services from U.S. east coast ports.

2021

Signed a partnership agreement with Generation Capital and established our storage division – Fridenson Generation Logistics Centers, that provides dry, refrigerated and deep-freeze storage solutions, with 160,000 sqm of storage areas and terminals.

2023

Launched the new refrigerated and frozen storage logistics center in Ashdod on an area of 12,500 sqm, which is fully automated and divided into different temperature areas, with 7,500 pallets for frozen storage of -20°C. In addition, the new logistics center can store about 13,000 pallets of all types of cargo, and also includes a sorting center.

Fridenson Air Ocean, the international freight forwarding division of Fridenson Logistic Services Ltd, is one of the largest and leading freight forwarding companies in Israel. The company specializes in air and ocean freight forwarding services, third-party forwarding and projects, alongside customs brokerage services, cargo insurance and additional services. The company operates throughout the world through a network of international agents in seaports and airports worldwide. As part of our international freight forwarding services we handle all the air and ocean forwarding stages, from the point of departure to the final destination. Our longstanding relationship with this network of international agents, combined with our advanced technology, afford us full control over the management and operation of the freight forwarding process, while providing the most professional, reliable, efficient and cost-effective service for the benefit of our customers in Israel and around the world.

Fridenson Logistic Services

The Fridenson Group specializes in overland transport services of numerous types of cargo to all areas of the country. The company has a fleet of hundreds of trucks, as well as special equipment for the transport of many types of cargo, among them general cargo, containers, hazardous materials, and out of gauge and unusual cargo. The company’s facilities are spread throughout the country, which enables us to provide efficient and professional service, with quick access to all industrial zones relevant to the business sector and to industry. The company has a range of equipment, including crane trucks, extendible trailers for heavy and out of gauge equipment, water tankers, and forklifts.

Fridenson Generation Logistics Centers

Fridenson Generation Logistics Centers’ logistics centers provide and operate a wide range of storage services under controlled conditions, located in the storage complexes in Haifa, Ashdod and Be’er Sheva. The company offers open storage areas, a closed storage area for dry and refrigerated cargo, an innovative and fully automated frozen storage logistics center, as well as storage and distribution services for hazardous materials that operate in full compliance with the most stringent Israel Health Ministry and international standards.

Fridenson Fri-Trade

Fri-Trade was established to meet the B2B procurement management needs of manufacturers and industrial companies. The company offers procurement management and the supply of raw materials to a wide range of industries: chemical, vehicle, security, infrastructure and consumer goods. The company provides a comprehensive import and trade inventory solution, including locating, procuring, transporting and storing the products. Fri-Trade is a strong local actor that operates across the entire supply chain and provides the leading products needed by the various industries - from commonly used products to the rarest of products that are in shortage.
